Keep your account secure
Change your password, see where you're logged in, log out other devices and manage connected AI apps.

Your Varly account can give access to a lot of data, especially in an agency with many clients. Check this page now and then, and act straight away if you see a device or app you don't recognize.
Change your password
- Open Account and find the Password card.
- Enter your Current password.
- Enter a New password of at least 10 characters, and type it again under Repeat new password.
- Leave Log out on all other devices ticked if you want every other device to log in again with the new password.
- Click Change password.
Varly confirms with "Password changed."
Forgot your password?
- On the log-in page, click Forgot your password?
- Enter the email address of your account and click Send the link.
- Open the email from Varly and click Choose a new password. The link works for 1 hour and only once.
- Enter a new password twice and click Save new password.
For your safety, you are then logged out on every device. Log in again with your new password. No email? Check your spam folder, or ask for a new link after a few minutes.
See where you're logged in
The card Where you're logged in lists the devices and browsers where you are logged in, for example Chrome on macOS. Each row shows the day it was last active, when it logged in and, if known, its IP address. The device you're using now is at the top and says This device. Click Show all to see more than five.
To log out one device, click Log out on its row. To log out everywhere except here, click Log out on all other devices. Varly confirms with "Logged out on all other devices." Those devices have to log in again.
Connected apps
If you connected Varly to an AI assistant, it's listed on the Account page under Connected apps, with what it may do and since when:
- Read only
- Can read and create drafts
- Can read, create drafts and launch tests
Click Disconnect to remove an app. It loses access right away. To use it again, you have to connect and allow it again. See Connect Varly to Claude and Connect Varly to ChatGPT.
An app only ever works with your own login. It sees the clients you can see, with your role, and nothing more.
Your profile
The Profile card holds your Name, your email address and your photo. Your team sees your name and photo next to the ideas, notes and tests you create. See Invite your team and choose roles.
Weekly summary email
Every Monday morning (Dutch time) Varly sends you one email with the last 7 days of every website you can see: visits compared with the week before, orders and revenue (if your shop is connected), visits with rage clicks, dead clicks or errors, new survey answers, new test ideas, and how each running test is doing. Websites without visits or tests are left out.
To stop it, open Account and untick Weekly summary under Email. It saves right away. Each person on your team chooses this for themselves.
When someone leaves your team
Logging out and passwords only cover your own account. When a colleague leaves, an owner removes them under Team → Edit role and access → Remove from team. They lose access to the organization right away, including through any AI app they connected.
Common problems
"Your current password is not correct." Check the current password you typed, including capital letters.
"The new passwords do not match." The two new passwords differ. Type them again.
"Log out on other devices" is grayed out. You're only logged in on this device, so there's nothing to log out.
Still stuck? Email support@varly.ai and we'll help you out.
